Or, if you’re a beginner, we offer surf lessons and surfboards to any of our guests who want to learn. These gorgeous tides will be tempting for anyone who wants to get deep in the water.

Marbella’s surf is celebrated for its great consistency. Playa Frijolar, which is a left hand break, is characterized by hollow waves, which makes it a perfect spot for novice wave riders. Paddle out to the waves with ease. Playa Coco, on the other hand, boasts enormous, hollow A-frame barreling waves that break to left and right.

Not too far from Buddha, you’ll find Nosara, a haven for beginners and veteran surfers alike. On every day of the year, this location offers warm crystal blue waters and near-perfect waves. Nosara’s Playa Guiones just close to the continental shelf, which also makes it ideal for fishing. The swells can get quite large on some days, but it is usually a good spot for beginning to intermediate surfers. If the waves at Guiones are too powerful, Playa Nosara or Pelada will have gentler waves for easy learning.
